New statistics show that millions of people are likely to give cleaning their teeth the brush off. A further one in five people are most likely to forget flossing.
The findings have been revealed by the British Dental Health Foundation as part of its National Smile Month Campaign. The results of the survey also show that attitudes towards oral hygiene havent improved in the last two years.
National Smile Month takes place from 20th May to 20th June and at the heart of the campaign the foundation seeks to remind everyone of the three golden rules for good oral health:
* Brusg for two minutes twice a day using a fluoride toothpaste
*Cutting down on how often you eat and drink sugary foods and drinks
*Visit your dentist regularily, as often as they recommend.
