Keeping Your Mouth Healthy With Interdental Cleaning

Bacterial plaque constantly forms between your teeth and is impossible to reach with a regular toothbrush. The plaque must be removed regularly, or it can cause gingivitis, cavities and bad breath.

Don’t stop cleaning between your teeth if your gums are sore and bleed. Bleeding gums are often a sign of gum inflammation. If you don’t notice an improvement within a few days of thorough brushing, contact your dentist or hygienist.

There are several ways of cleaning between your teeth, depending on the size of your gaps and the method you prefer. The most effective method is to use an interdental brush. TePe offer interdental brushes in nine sizes to fit different interdental spaces.

TePe brushes are available here at Creative Smiles and the team would be happy to advise you on what size brush suits your needs and instruct you on how to use them.
